Today, Thursday, as a result of a collision between two vehicles carrying workers and male workers, 27 people (two drivers and 25 female workers) were injured in the watering orbit of the Yousef Ben Tashfin dam, at the level of the Toussos district, in within the territorial influence of the community of Belfaa, the province of Chtuka Ait Baha.
Sources from the scene said that the cause of the accident was a collision between a pickup truck and a passenger car carrying 25 agricultural workers, which led to the overturning of the commercial vehicle, speeding was not ruled out and the lack of a traffic light violation was the cause of the accident.
Local authorities and members of the Royal Gendarmerie at the Liffa Territorial Center used civil protection ambulances and others belonging to some groups from the neighboring area of Chtuka Ait Baha to transport the wounded to the hospital, where the three were taken. to the Hassan II Regional Hospital with serious fractures, the rest of the victims are undergoing the necessary examinations and treatment at the Al-Mukhtar Al-Sussi Hospital in Buukri.
The gendarmes launched a preliminary investigation, under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, into the circumstances and circumstances of the accident, pending medical reports on the condition of the victims, in order to complete the investigation in order to determine the true causes of this accident.
