The message received by Hespress indicated that, in fulfillment of the high directives of King Mohammed VI, Morocco is strengthening its progress in the development of renewable energy sources as a national priority in order to strengthen its energy sovereignty and its position in a carbon-free economy in order to attract more domestic and foreign investment in this sector.

The same source added that this agreement is part of the decarbonization of the national industry, which in turn aims to reduce the carbon footprint through the supply of electricity from renewable energy sources, which will give industrial companies the main lever to increase competitiveness while strengthening the position Kingdom of Morocco as a regional pole of competitive industrial production and environmental friendliness.
