As for the United States, according to the report, it still leads the way in the 7 remaining technologies, such as vaccines, quantum computing, and spacecraft launch systems.

In addition, the report shows that China has laid a solid foundation for positioning itself as a leading superpower in the field of science and technology, thanks to many cutting-edge research in these technical fields.

He also pointed out that 10 of the world’s leading technology research institutes are based in China, adding that they publish very important and high-impact research, nine times more than what is published in America.

He added that the Chinese Academy of Sciences ranked first or second in most of the 44 technologies included in the study, according to a Guardian newspaper report.

Moreover, he warned of a Chinese monopoly on eight technologies, including nanomaterials, hydrogen and ammonia for energy, and synthetic biology.

He also warned that China’s ability in the area of ​​nuclear-capable hypersonic missiles should not come as a surprise to US intelligence agencies, as analysis of data over the past five years showed that Beijing produced 48.49% of high-performance research papers in this area. .

Notably, both America and China, the world’s two largest economic powers, are in a political fight over multiple files, and an economic one as well.
