Benfica reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League after beating their away club Brugge 5-1 in the second leg of the round of 16 and won back and forth 7-1.
The first goal was scored in the 38th minute by Rafa Silva, and in the 45th minute Gonzalo Ramos added the second, then the same player scored the third in the 57th minute.
In the 71st minute, Joao Mario scored the fourth from a free kick, and by the 78th minute, David Neres scored the fifth goal.
In the 88th minute of the match, the guests reduced the difference in the score by scoring Bjorn Meyer’s signature.
