Units of the public service judicial police of the city of Agadir managed to detain a 26-year-old citizen of a sub-Saharan African country on suspicion of his involvement in a case related to the possession and distribution of hard drugs.
According to a law enforcement source, the suspect was detained at a checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Agadir immediately after arriving in a public transport bus on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking.
The same source added that as a result of an x-ray examination carried out by the person concerned at the regional hospital, suspicious capsules were found in his intestines, which, after vomiting, turned out to be a quantity of cocaine weighing 68 grams.
The suspect was kept under theoretical protection, subject to an investigation under the supervision of a competent prosecutor’s office, in order to establish the circumstances and circumstances of this case and to reveal all the criminal acts attributed to him.
