Today, the National Cybersecurity Clearinghouse issued a high security risk warning regarding a security update for Zoom products. The Center said via its official Twitter account that Zoom has released several updates to address a number of vulnerabilities in the following products. :

• Zoom Rooms for macOS clients

• Pre-release 5.11.3

Zoom for Android clients

• Pre-release 5.13.0

• Zoom Rooms for Windows Clients

• Pre-release 5.12.7

• Zoom Rooms for Windows installers

• Pre-release 5.13.0

The center said in a tweet on its Twitter account that the threat could allow an attacker to elevate a standard user to a system administrator and allow programs to read/write the file path of the Zoom program.
