Uruguay did not win enough against Ghana with two clean goals to say goodbye to the “Qatar 2022 World Cup” group stage due to South Korea’s 2-1 victory over Portugal in the third and final round of Group H.
Portugal topped the group with 6 points, followed by South Korea with 4 points, overtaking Uruguay with more goals (4–4 to 2–2) and Ghana with three points.
Portugal will face the second-placed team in Group G (tbc) in the final standings, while South Korea will face the leaders of that group (tbc).
