Heads of Arab, foreign and African countries congratulate the king after the historic advance of the Atlas Lions to the semi-finals of the World Cup
The heads of state congratulated King Mohammed VI in phone calls after the historic qualification of the Morocco national football team today, Saturday, with the semi-final round of the World Cup (Qatar – 2022).
President of the Republic of Gabon Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron and Emir of the State of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani called the King.
King Abdullah II of Jordan, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Weld Sheikh al-Ghazwani and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates also called the King.
These Presidents extended their warmest congratulations to the King on this historic achievement, which made Morocco the first African and Arab country to qualify for this stage of the World Cup.
