

Today, Friday, oil prices rose significantly compared to the prices observed during the last period.
The increase came after data showed a reduction in fuel supplies following a winter storm that swept the United States of America.
And futures for Brent crude rose 79 cents, or 1%, to $79.48 a barrel after rising 85 cents to $78.69 as settled yesterday (Thursday).
West Texas Intermediate crude oil futures rose 80 cents, or 1.1%, to $74.47 a barrel after rising 83 cents to $73.67 in the prior session.
