Lowthit confirmed in response to a written question from MP Saeed Aziz about the socialist team that the most important difficulties faced by the unit were represented by “the inconsistency of the governing office and the lack of communication among its members, in addition to the refusal of the former head of the unit to complete the dismissal procedure by submission of administrative documents and data”. and finance with the competent authorities.
The response of the Minister of the Interior stated that this unit also faced “financial difficulties due to the lack of an element of solidarity among the members of the detachment and the inability of all cooperatives under the banner of the detachment to provide the detachment with milk to create additional value to cover part of the fixed costs, especially for the payment of taxes interested peasants.
According to the same document, it is a federation of milk collection cooperatives called Halib Gersif Economic Benefit Group, which was established in 2015 by 13 cooperatives as part of the Green Morocco Plan strategy. the second pillar is aimed at the development of solidarity agriculture through the implementation of economically viable projects. Luftith said that as part of the tireless efforts to contain this situation, a series of consecutive meetings were held in the presence of all interested departments, in particular, the search for solutions to solve all the above problems, including the proposal to hold an extraordinary general meeting to appoint a new president and search for new sources of funding.
He reported that the committee associated with the central and regional interests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Water Resources and Forests was dissolved on January 08 and 09, 2023 at the division headquarters, where he held meetings with members of the division and the director. responsible for its management, in addition to agreeing with the investor from the region and inviting him to enter it as a partner, which the regional authorities insisted on. At her last meeting with all stakeholders on February 8, she stated that “the completion of this project is aimed at the category of small farmers in the region and to improve their socio-economic conditions, and that the method of managing the group for economic benefit requires advancing in the way of doing business in accordance with a new model that dissolves all disagreements and narrow calculations between the leaders of cooperatives.
At this meeting, it was decided, in accordance with the response of the Minister of the Interior, to take urgent measures to fulfill the obligations assumed by the cooperatives to supply the unit with milk, to intensify consultations between the leaders of the cooperatives, to agree on the election of a new president, to form an agreed office that operates within a clear and specific legal framework, and coordinate with the interests of the competent court, and interested financial institutions to establish their own legal administrative cases, while continuing open consultations with other investors to ensure financial liquidity.
Abdel Wafi Laftit concluded that in the event that all these solutions do not work, the competent authorities will apply the legal procedures applicable in such a case, stressing that the local authorities will continue their tireless efforts to solve this problem and closely monitor it situation. .
