Romelu Lukaku, striker of Inter Milan and the Belgian national team, missed his national team’s group training session due to a hamstring injury.

According to many international newspapers, which through their sources reported this to the Belgian national team, Lukaku will not appear in the matches between Canada and Morocco, and there are doubts about his appearance in the Croatian match in the last round of the group stage.

The striker has not taken part in the Red Devils’ first training session since their arrival in Qatar on Friday as he continues to recover from another hamstring injury.

Lukaku is Belgium’s all-time top scorer with 68 goals, scoring in 102 matches and was called up to the World Cup squad despite manager Roberto Martinez admitting he was not in full form.

The 29-year-old has been plagued by injuries in recent times, starting with his departure from Chelsea and joining Inter on loan.

It’s worth noting that Belgium kicks off its World Cup campaign against Canada on Wednesday, then faces Morocco in the second round, and faces World Cup runners-up Russia in the final round.
