
Manchester City beat Manchester United 6-2 in a clash between the two sides this afternoon at the Premier League Round 9 summit at the Etihad Stadium.
The win lifted City’s lead to 20 points in the Premier League, while United dropped to sixth with 12 points.
And the Norwegians Erling Haaland and Phil Foden play the best role in the meeting, after each of them scored a hat-trick.
City dominated the length and breadth of the first half against the backdrop of a complete retreat from United’s ranks.
City started their attacks already in the 2nd minute with a triple attack, which was saved by the defense of De Gea and United.
Phil Foden moved forward in the 8th minute, scoring the first goal from Silva’s cross into the box, which was the first to go into De Gea’s net.
In the 17th minute, Gunjan delivered a superb free-kick that hit De Gea’s left post.
In the 34th minute, Erling Haaland scored City’s second goal with a perfect header from a Kevin De Bruyne corner.
And in the 38th minute, in the same way, De Bruyne miraculously scored the third goal against Haaland, who miraculously completed it against De Gea.
Foden ended the city’s first-half quartet in the 44th minute, scoring his second goal against Industrie from Halland.
Second half
The Brazilian Anthony closed the gap at the start of the half in the 55th minute with a superb strike from outside the area, setting Ederson up with a right.
In the 64th minute, Haaland scored a hat-trick, hitting the ball in the penalty area after Sergio Gomez’s pass.
Haaland returned to make in the 72nd minute Phil Foden, who scored a “hat-trick” after hitting the ball in the penalty area, which was stuck in De Gea’s goal.
United came back to score a second goal in the 84th minute with a header from Frenchman Anthony Martial before the same player returned to score a third for his team and a second for him.
