The Football Association has announced that Manchester United and Crystal Palace have been fined £55,000 for failing to control players during a match between the two teams.

Manchester United won 2-1 over Crystal Palace on 4 February in the 22nd round of the English Premier League, and in the 67th minute of the match there were clashes between the players.

Casemiro, a Manchester United player, received a direct red card due to clashes that occurred between players from the two teams, so the FA decided to penalize the two clubs for their inability to control the players.

Manchester United are third in the Premier League standings with 49 points, 8 points behind leaders Arsenal, while Crystal Palace are 12th with 27 points.
