Moroccan nominee for theater research award

The Arab Theater Authority announced that three young Arab researchers were awarded the top three places in the seventh edition of the Arab Theater Research Competition.

The body itself said in its message that the selection of finalists was under strict research control, including the novelty of the topic and its originality, moderation, innovation and various proposals, adding that in order to ensure the achievement of the goals of the competition, and to consolidate its science, it formed a jury consisting of of professors Saad Youssef from Sudan, Saeed Al-Naji from Morocco and Najwa Anus from Egypt.

The post added that the list of finalists included Asma Mohamed Hassan Ibrahim from Egypt, Adel Al-Karib from Morocco and Marwa Ahmed Wahdan from Egypt. Ismail Abdullah, Secretary General of the Arab Theater Authority, said: “The Arab Theater Research Competition has succeeded in presenting and dedicating the names of young researchers over the course of seven editions and thus opening up new horizons for the exploration of the intellectual achievements of the Arab theatre.”

In another context, the Arab Theater Administration will organize a public symposium for the three finalists to deepen the discussion, and it will be held in the presence of the jury members to determine the hierarchy of the winners in terms of ability and opportunity. the researcher is resolved in accordance with his plea to emphasize the value, new and renewed research.

This symposium will take place as part of the events of the 13th Arab Theater Festival, which will be held in Casablanca from 10 to 16 January 2023.
