The Moroccan taekwondo team was able to lead the overall standings of the ninth international ranking of the G1 Hassan International Championship, which ended on Sunday evening in the Jordanian capital Amman, having won 11 medals.

The national team led by Azrouri Abdelkader and Issam Al-Sharnoubi finished first in the women’s category and second in the men’s category, winning six gold and four silver medals, as well as one bronze medal.

The champions, Nuja Al-Assal, weighed in at under 49kg, Mariam Hawlyal, who weighed in under 62kg, Omaima Bumeh, who weighed in under 73kg, and Fatima Al-Zahraa Abu Fares, who weighed in over 73kg, in addition to the two champions, Hatem Ruhou. weighing less than 54 kg, and Haitham Zaguchi, weighing 74 kg, with gold medals.

Silver medals were crowned by the champions Fatima Bensaid in the weight up to 46 kg, Omaima Al-Bushti in the weight up to 53 kg, Sanaa Bayra in the weight up to 67 kg and the champion Faisal Saidi in the weight up to 67 kg. weight less than 68 kg, and the bronze medal went to Wasfi Abdel Basset in weight less than 63 kg.

Organized by the Jordanian Taekwondo Federation from February 24 to 26, the tournament was attended by 700 male and female players from 17 countries.
