Burita added in his opening remarks at the Silver Jubilee of the Bait Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif in Skhirat this evening, Friday, that “Morocco has been bearing one hundred percent of the budget of the Bait Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif since 2011 in the category of public donations and seventy percent in the category of donations from individuals and institutions.”
He continued: “Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif has spent more than $65 million in its continuous work for more than 65 years, which has allowed it to implement more than 200 projects in all categories of Jerusalem society, divided by sectors. construction, real estate acquisition, healthcare, education, agriculture, media, youth, childhood and development”.
And the Moroccan envoy stated that “Bayt Mal al-Quds al-Sharif” has received and still enjoys great support and wide praise at all Arab and Islamic summits, perhaps the most recent of which was the Arab summit held in Algiers. . in 2022, as well as at all ministerial meetings at the Arab and Islamic levels.”
And he continued: “I take this opportunity to recall the firm conviction of King Mohammed VI, which he expressed at the opening of the twentieth meeting of the Al-Quds Committee in Marrakech in 2012, when he said that we in Al-Quds The Committee believes that the defense of this usurped of the city is not an indirect action and is not limited only to Committee meetings, but includes, in particular, its influential diplomatic moves and tangible field work inside Jerusalem, which is carried out by the Bait Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency as a committee mechanism.
And Burita added: “The Beit Mal al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency will continue to work for the good of Jerusalem, as King Mohammed VI wanted, to preserve the Holy City as a land of peace, coexistence, security and stability. , as well as a place of pilgrimage for followers of the three monotheistic religions to perform religious rituals with comfort and tranquility, in accordance with the spirit of the Jerusalem Call, signed by the Commander of the Faithful, His Holiness.” Rabat in 2019.
