Spanish media reports indicated that Morocco joining Portugal and Spain to co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup final would make the file strong and most likely earn host honors despite more competition from another tripartite file that includes Saudi Arabia. Arabia, Egypt and Greece, as well as the fourth row of South American countries (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay).
“The Iberian File is the biggest candidate to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup,” said Mundo Deportivo, stressing that the inclusion of the Kingdom of Morocco in this file “gives it additional value and will make it the luckiest one.”
The Spanish newspaper stated that “Ukraine’s compensation in Morocco is considered a positive development for this tripartite file with the goal of organizing the 2030 FIFA World Cup.”
It is noteworthy that the Moroccan experience is very important in this file, given the conclusions that the Kingdom has drawn from previous files in which major countries competed to host this global football event.
