Today, the Central Bank of Lebanon decided to sell the dollar in cash for 70,000 pounds from March 2.
The exchange rate for the dollar on the parallel market in Lebanon ranges from £89,000 when selling to £89,500 when buying.
Since early February, the Central Bank of Lebanon has adopted a new official dollar exchange rate of 15,000 Lebanese pounds from 1,500 Lebanese pounds previously.
