In February last year, more than 11,000 people received various medical services and medicines as part of mobile medical teams and medical convoys stationed in the Azilal region.
The regional delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in the Azilal region confirmed that from February 1 to 28, 26 mobile medical teams and 10 multidisciplinary medical convoys were deployed in 25 territorial communes in the Azilal region in the interests of 11, 26 people.
These medical and social initiatives were organized as part of the 2022-2023 nursing process, programs to counter the effects of the cold, as well as bringing medical services closer to the population of mountainous areas and improving medical provision in rural areas.
Organized in cooperation with civil society associations, these medical convoys mobilized over 100 medical workers, several types of equipment and supplies.
