
The work of the next meeting of the Fes-Meknes Regional Council began on Monday morning to activate the requirements of Organic Law No. 14.114 regarding the regions.
A number of items are on the agenda of the regular session, including an agreement on the rehabilitation of centers located in areas affected by the July fires in Taza province, as well as an agreement related to the restoration of residential buildings damaged by fires that broke out in the soil of the same region.
In this regard, Abdelhak Abu Salem, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Fes-Meknes Region, said in connection with Al-Youm 24 that the agenda of the session includes important items, primarily related to the study and approval of the draft budget for 2023, in addition to allocating a total of AED70 million for school transport.
The agenda of the session also includes an item related to the development and approval of ready-made draft agreements, including an agreement with the Tonkpi region of Côte d’Ivoire, an agreement on strengthening the institutional capacity of associations in the region.
