The Competition Council and the Exchange signed a cooperation agreement to exchange information, data and experience in areas of mutual interest.
According to a joint press statement issued by Hespress today, Tuesday, the agreement will allow access to information and research carried out by the two institutions as part of their assigned tasks.
The statement emphasizes that this partnership is “based on the crucial role of the two institutions in developing and modernizing the national economy and helping to improve the business climate in an increasingly difficult global competition.”
The agreement will strengthen measures aimed at legalizing competition in the markets and protecting consumers by counteracting the competitive practice of competition rules in the light of information related to the movement of foreign transactions in goods, services, capital and investments.
Previously, the Competition Council signed similar agreements with a number of institutions, including the Prosecutor’s Office, the National Social Insurance Fund and Al-Maghrib Bank.
