The High Council for Education, Training and Research is expected to hold its first session of its second term under the chairmanship of Habib El Malki, newly appointed by King Mohammed VI, on Monday and Tuesday, 9 and 10 January 2023, at the Council’s headquarters in Rabat. to complete its new structure and appoint members to its standing committees.

Al-Maliki will open the first session of the Supreme Council for Education and Training early next week with an opening speech, followed by presentations by three ministers in the Ahannouch government on education, training and research reform projects. system run by the government.

According to a statement released by the Supreme Council for Education and Training, Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, will present the presentation of the “2022-2026 Roadmap for a Quality Public School for All”.

Meanwhile, Abdul Latif Al Mirawi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, will make a similar presentation on “a national plan to accelerate the transformation of higher education, research and innovation.”

The third presentation will be presented by the Minister of Economic Integration, Small Business, Employment and Competences on the topic “Roadmap for the Development of Vocational Training”.

According to the same source, the agenda of the meeting is expected to include the election of members of the Bureau of the Council, the formation of permanent committees, the approval of their composition, as well as the election of their chairmen and rapporteurs, as well as the creation of two working groups to focus on the preparation of the Council’s strategy for 2023 –2027 and annual report.
