The regional branch of the Judicial Police in the city of Marrakesh arrested a local government official while receiving a sum of money after the citizen filed a complaint with the Presidium of the Prosecutor’s Office on the green number intended to report bribery. .

Investigations and investigations carried out under the supervision of the Deputy Public Prosecutor of the Court of Appeal of Marrakech led to the arrest of the arrested person upon receipt of a sum of money to be transferred in the case of arrest to the investigating judge in charge of money crimes in the Court of Appeal, Youssef Al-Zaitouni, who, after the completion of a detailed investigation imprisoned him and handed him over. , in the misdemeanor of bribery in accordance with Chapter 248 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

On the same issue, the Ministry of the Interior stated that, in an effort to ensure that the authorities continued to comply with the ethics of public service, it had arrested Commander Azli in the prefecture of Marrakesh, amidst the opening of a judicial investigation supervised by the competent prosecutor’s office in connection with his suspicion involved in corruption.

The message to the ministry states that “appropriate administrative procedures will be initiated in relation to the person concerned in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in the light of the results that will be obtained from the investigations and the judicial procedure.”
