The King appreciates the strong relationship between Morocco and Mauritania

King Mohammed VI sent a telegram of congratulations to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohammed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, on the occasion of the celebration of Independence Day in his country.

In this telegram, the Sovereign, on behalf of himself and on behalf of the Moroccan people, expressed his warmest congratulations and sincere wishes to President Mohammed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani of good health and contentment, and to the fraternal Mauritanian people – further progress and prosperity.

And from what was said in this telegram: “I take this national occasion to pay tribute to the strength of the established fraternal relations uniting the Kingdom of Morocco and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and to assure Your Excellency of my sensitivity to continue working together to advance our bilateral relations to the level strategic partnership in a way that meets the aspirations of our two countries and two fraternal peoples.”
