The prosecutor’s office ordered to investigate the death of fish

Wadi El Necro in Mdiq Fnidek prefecture witnessed the death of a large number of fish of various species in a unique incident that was the subject of a judicial investigation supervised by the public prosecutor’s office.

Local sources indicated, in identical testimony to the Hespress newspaper, that there are treatment facilities near the valley, in addition to passing tourist vehicles. It is possible that the “hot valley” flows directly into the valley’s stream.

The same sources indicated that units of the Regional Command of the Royal Gendarmerie in Tetouan were on the scene to launch a judicial investigation into this rare phenomenon that threatens the local environment under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office.

The Royal Gendarmerie took samples of dead fish, as well as samples of polluted water, in order to subject them to an experiment to determine the true causes of this phenomenon, at a time when collective voices called for the intervention of interested sectors to find causes and urgent solutions to avoid a repetition of this “environmental crimes.”
