The Royal Gendarmerie prevented the theft of a flock of sheep in Khouribga

The units of the Royal Gendarmerie Land Center in Kifaf, Khouribga province, managed to prevent the theft of several sheep in the land of the village community of Beni Yahlef on the outskirts of the city of Khouribga early this morning.

Sources from Hespress e-newspaper explained that the operation, supervised by a captain, a company commander of the Royal Gendarmerie in Khouribga, brought to a stop a car with more than 16 sheep containing their license plate in mud.

The same sources added that there were three people on board the aforementioned car, and one of them managed to escape in an unknown direction, while the Royal Gendarmerie managed to pursue and arrest two other people.

Preliminary investigations of two of the detainees, with judicial precedents, showed that they come from the Awlad Fanan of the Samaala tribe, and the third of them lives in the center of Tala el Awlad, located in the Settat area.

The two detainees indicated that the target of the operation was a herd of cattle at one of the roundabouts of the Awlad Mhamed group in Settat province for the purpose of being transported and sold in Samaal, but the vigilance of the Royal Gendarmerie prevented the success of the operation.

Significantly, the Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the detainees to be subjected to theoretical security measures in the interest of an investigation being conducted under the supervision of the Royal Gendarmerie in Khouribga, with the issuance of a search warrant against a third suspect. , and the identification of other alleged participants in the operation.
