Training day dedicated to territorial administration in Tinghir

Thursday at the Prefectural Headquarters of Tingir District in a partnership between the prefecture itself, the Network of Development Associations and the Moroccan Network for Social and Solidarity Economy.

The same study day, which takes place under the third program of the third stage of the National Human Development Initiative (2019-2023) – the theme of social and solidarity economy, was organized in the presence of Hassan Zitouni, a worker in Tinghir province, general clerk for hire, head of department of the Interior and Head of the Regional Council, Letinghir, President of the Moroccan Social and Solidarity Economy Network and Presidents of the Professional Chambers.

In his speech on this occasion, which was also attended by the director of the regional investment center, the regional director of agriculture, heads of local human development committees, regional directors and delegates, as well as representatives of cooperatives and their federations, Hasan Zitouni, Governor of Tinghir Province said: “The National Human Development Initiative is one of the most important projects and models.” victory and support.

The same regional official added: “This important meeting aims to shed light on the results of the study conducted by the prefecture of Tinghir province on value chains and discuss the role of the territorial government in promoting social entrepreneurship in light of the new development model goal for our countries”, thanking “everyone who contributed from near or far abroad”. In the same speech, the governor of Tingir district added that the topic of the school day organized in Tingir “is connected with one of the first development priorities of the country, which is to increase the incomes of vulnerable social strata and the economic integration of youth, as part of a positive solution to the problem of youth unemployment and low income among the strata that do not have access to stable work”, noting that “Tingir district, thanks to the concerted efforts of all local development activities, and the priority it had at the level of approach to work, set the task of developing and adopting the practical mechanisms necessary for implementation of new directions of the National Human Development Initiative”.

The same official confirmed that “the region has adopted an innovative approach that puts the target human factor at the center of its interests, while not ignoring the region’s spatial features and its skills in creating opportunities for economic integration, regeneration and falling behind them. ”, recalling the efforts made in this regard.

During this study day, two sessions were organized: the first on the topic “Governance / Social economy and the economy of solidarity: concepts and foundations”, “Research of chains of the social economy and the economy of solidarity in the process of change”, “Social economy and the economy of solidarity: principles and goals ”, and “Territorial Administration: Concept and Approaches”.

The second session discussed “The Role of Research in the Promotion of the Social and Solidarity Economy”, “The Importance of the Social and Solidarity Economy in Local Development”, “The Position of the Social and Solidarity Economy in Financial Law”, and “Working Together in a Region of Change: Opportunities and Challenges”.

At the end of this study meeting, a set of recommendations were presented, which were agreed upon by the participants in the discussion on “the role of territorial administration in the development of a social and solidarity economy in the province of Tinghir”.
