The United Nations Interim Force in South Lebanon, UNIFIL, called on Thursday to avoid an escalation following rocket attacks from the south towards Israel, which responded by bombing firing positions, calling the current situation “very dangerous.”
“The current situation is extremely dangerous,” the statement said. UNIFIL urges restraint and avoiding further escalation.
