The local branch of the National Syndicate for Higher Education at the Faculty of Arts in Tetouan expressed the surprise and indignation of professors at the continuing disregard and underestimation of the ministry of their role and the marginalization of their elected bodies and councils, highlighting the rejection of the higher education and the hasty methodology of uploading new projects of pedagogical control, which amaze with the depth of participatory approach.
In a communiqué, the aforementioned trade union bureau called for the actual and real participation of teachers in this national reform seminar, warning against the failure of any hasty partial reform that is not based on an accurate and bold assessment of the LMD system with its negative and positive sides, and does not call for a comprehensive consideration of the system of education and training.
The message indicated that the success of any reform was mainly due to the establishment of the appropriate infrastructure, the provision of sufficient funds and the necessary human resources, and the boldness of the basic system for university professors, as agreed.
With regard to education, the trade union bureau raised a number of educational issues, which are mainly related to university admissions, noting the delay in the start of classes and the length of examinations, which is a waste of study time.
He emphasized the need to respect the decisions of the institution’s board, to preserve the key role of people in the management of education, support them, treat them as equals and respect their decisions as the main key to removing most of the obstacles and the university reform seminars were successful.

The Union Bureau itself was surprised at the conversion of the meeting room and its allocation to administrative purposes, not compensating it with a room worthy of debating committees, and maintaining its confidentiality, urging the dean of the college to correct the situation and limit these abuses. taking into account the suggestions of professors.
He also called for the activation of the Council of Doctoral Studies, the restoration of meeting rooms and the improvement of living conditions for visiting professors participating in discussion committees.
