In the Great Hall of the Higher Normal School in Martil, the second session of the Zarqa al-Yamama forum, organized in cooperation with the Higher Normal School and the Union for Women’s Actions, Martil-Tetouan branch, took place. were present who watched the moments of this poetic and artistic demonstration.

In creating this activity, the House of Poetry in Tetouan emphasized the importance of strengthening this partnership through a cultural forum that has become an annual date to honor women poets and creators from various fields and a moment to listen to poetic voices. coming from the future.

Halima Al-Arabi, General Secretary of the Association, initiated this forum, emphasizing its importance as a date that marks the value of Zarq Al-Yamam, “this dreamy woman who predicts an event before it happens, which we can consider as an event” . a vision or a far-sighted look into the future”, adding: “That is why it was necessary to give this Forum an important to end with the honoring of the poetess Latifa Al-Maskini.

Al-Arabi confirmed that Zarqa Al-Yamama’s Divan was “a cry of young female poets who have come from the future, a future that rebels against all notions and stereotypes that have been attached to women for centuries; Therefore, the future lies with creativity and intellectual revolution,” adding that “the time has come to change the mentality and look at the horizon together, and not one by one; Together we will create miracles, and together our souls will be healed of all diseases, and together we will rise to the heights of glory.

For his part, Dr. Youssef al-Fihri introduced the esteemed poet Latifa al-Maskini as “an outstanding poet, because indeed she had a special trait in her poetry, and presented an innovative creative project that gives life to the Arabic poem and saves it from vulgarity.”

Al-Fihri emphasized in his article that Al-Muskini, by virtue of his academic specialization, is a poet “engaged in reading Arabic poetic heritage and critical and theoretical concepts, looking back from a front mirror overlooking Western culture, reading poetry to pass through the platform of translation and the ascent of poetry to the Arabic poem”.

The event was marked by the organization of a poetry evening for young women poets and creators from Morocco and China, which was attended by the poetess Anisa Eidun from Morocco, who received a committee mention at the last session of the First Divan Young Poetry Competition organized by the House of Poetry in Tetouan.

The poet Samia Dali Youssef and the poet Ibtihal Al-Moarf from the city of Tangier, who is no more than 13 years old, also participated, while she drew attention to her in this forum, while she read her poem: “They asked me about my country. In it I settled .. My homeland is higher and more exalted than all the words that disturb the soul, and it cannot remain silent .. This is the meaning of my homeland, a meaning that does not mean a description or an adjective …

The Chinese participants recited poems from the masterpieces of modern Chinese poetry, it was about Wei Weiner, Qi Yufang and Yan Ziyi, who completed the poetry readings by singing: “The white sun sets behind the mountain / The yellow river flows into the sea. If you look at the farthest horizon, you will rise and rise and rise.”

The ceremony ended with a performance by the Moroccan singer Samia Ahmed, masterpieces of Arabic and Andalusian Moroccan poetry, from the motif “Gharib El Dar” to “Give me a flute” and from “Remember me” to “Oh my heart, my soul”, up to the stanza “Rome Ramitni”, and from its beginning: “Rome left me, I fell in love with her / I looked out the door so we could see her / she sings and speaks at the beginning of her poetry / the people of Andalusia understand the sign / only poets know love .
