Al-Arabi confirmed that Zarqa Al-Yamama’s Divan was “a cry of young female poets who have come from the future, a future that rebels against all notions and stereotypes that have been attached to women for centuries; Therefore, the future lies with creativity and intellectual revolution,” adding that “the time has come to change the mentality and look at the horizon together, and not one by one; Together we will create miracles, and together our souls will be healed of all diseases, and together we will rise to the heights of glory.
For his part, Dr. Youssef al-Fihri introduced the esteemed poet Latifa al-Maskini as “an outstanding poet, because indeed she had a special trait in her poetry, and presented an innovative creative project that gives life to the Arabic poem and saves it from vulgarity.”
Al-Fihri emphasized in his article that Al-Muskini, by virtue of his academic specialization, is a poet “engaged in reading Arabic poetic heritage and critical and theoretical concepts, looking back from a front mirror overlooking Western culture, reading poetry to pass through the platform of translation and the ascent of poetry to the Arabic poem”.
The event was marked by the organization of a poetry evening for young women poets and creators from Morocco and China, which was attended by the poetess Anisa Eidun from Morocco, who received a committee mention at the last session of the First Divan Young Poetry Competition organized by the House of Poetry in Tetouan.
The poet Samia Dali Youssef and the poet Ibtihal Al-Moarf from the city of Tangier, who is no more than 13 years old, also participated, while she drew attention to her in this forum, while she read her poem: “They asked me about my country.
